Ingredients:

Vendakkai (Okra ) -1 /2 kg chopped fine

Oil -4-5 tbsp

Mustard seeds -1 tbsp

Turmeric powder -1 tsp

Urad dal – 1 tsp

Curry powder – 2 tbsp

Curry Leaves – 1 sprig

Salt to taste

Method:

In a kadai heat oil and once hot add Mustard seeds , Urad dal and curry leaves and saute for a couple of minutes .

Now add the Vendakkai, Turmeric powder and saute for a few minutes . Now add curry powder and salt and mix well . Saute for a few minutes till the Vendakkai is cooked well .
