Ingredients:

Potatoes – 5 – 6 Medium cut into cubes

Beans – 300 grams

Onions – 2 chopped fine

Cumin Seeds – 2 tbsp

Ginger and Garlic Paste – 1 tbsp

Red Chilli Powder – 2 tbsp

Coriander Powder – 2 tbsp

Garam Masala – 1 tsp

Coriander Leaves – 1 bunch chopped fine

Ghee/ Oil – 4 -5 tbsp

Salt to taste

Method:

In a cooker steam the potatoes and beans for five to six minutes so that the potatoes are half cooked.  Allow it to cool and set it aside.

In a kadai heat ghee/oil and once hot add the cumin seeds, onions and ginger and garlic paste till the onions turn translucent.

Now add the potatoes and beans and saute for a couple of minutes.  Add Red Chilli Powder, Coriander Powder and salt and mix well.  Finally add the garam masala and saute for a few more minutes.

Garnish with coriander leaves.
