Ingredients:

Onions – 2 medium roughly chopped

Tomatoes – 3-4 roughly chopped

Red chillies – 3-4

Urad dal – 2 tbsp

Oil – 2-3 tbsp

Salt to taste

Method:

In a kadai heat oil and once hot add red chillies and Urad dal and saute for a few minutes.

Now add the onions and saute till the onions become translucent. Now add the tomatoes and saute till the tomatoes become mushy. Now take it off the heat and set it aside.

Now in a mixie, blend the cooled mixture and grind it into a fine paste.

Yummy Vengaya chutney is ready to taste!!
