Ingredients:

Chow chow or white pumpkin – 250 gms cut into cubes (you can use Okra as well for making this)

Cumin seeds – 1 tbsp

Ginger – 1 small piece finely chopped

Mustard seeds – 1 tbsp

Turmeric powder – 1 tsp

Green chillies – 3-4

Fresh coconut – 1 cup

Curd – 2 cups

Curry Leaves – 1 sprig

Oil – 3-4 tbsp

Salt to taste

Method:

In a kadai heat oil and once hot add Mustard seeds, curry leaves and saute for a couple of minutes.

Now add the chow chow or pumpkin pieces and Turmeric powder and salt and saute till it becomes soft. Turn off the heat and keep it aside in a bowl.

Now in a mixie blend Cumin seeds, ginger, green chillies, fresh coconut and curd into a smoothie. Add little water if required.

Add the smoothie to the bowl and mix well.

Yummy mor kuzhambu is now ready to taste!!
