Rice flour – 150 grams
Mustard seeds – 1 tbsp
Urad dal – 1 tbsp
Green chillies – 2-3
Curry Leaves – 1 sprig
Oil – 4-5 tbsp
Salt to taste
In a kadai heat oil and once hot add Mustard seeds, Urad dal, green chillies and curry leaves and saute for a few minutes.
Now add three cups of water and salt and let it come to a boil. Now slowly add the rice flour and mix well such that no lumps are formed.
Keep stirring constantly till all the water evaporates and the upma is well cooked. Add some oil and mix well.
Yummy Kuzhambu Maavu Upma is ready to taste!!
