Ingredients:

Mint leaves – 1 bunch

Coriander leaves – 1 bunch

Curry Leaves – 1 sprig

Dry red chillies – 4-5

Urad dal – 2 tbsp

Tamarind paste – 1 tbsp

Oil – 2-3 tbsp

Salt to taste

Method:

In a kadai heat oil and once hot add dry red chillies, urad dal and saute for a couple of minutes.

Now add the mint leaves, coriander leaves and curry leaves, tamarind paste and salt and mix well.  Saute this for a few minutes till the leaves are half cooked. Turn off the heat and once cool blend this mixture into a fine paste.

Yummy Puthina Kothamalli Chutney is now ready !!

Note: It goes well for making sandwiches as well as with dosa and idli.
