Ingredients:

Rava (Semolina) – 1  cup

Ghee – 6-7 tbsp

Sugar – 2 cups

Elaichi powder – 1 tsp

Cashews – 10-12

Raisins – 8-10

Kesari powder – Optional

Method:

In a kadai heat ghee and once hot add cashews and raisins and saute till the cashews turn golden. Take them off the kadai and keep it aside.

In the same kadai add some more Ghee and the rava and saute for a couple of minutes. Now slowly add 3 cups of warm water and kesari powder , mixing gently without forming lumps.

After all the water evaporates, add sugar, mix well and cook on low flame until the kesari starts to leave the sides of the kadai.

Add cardamom powder, and Garnish with cashew nuts and  raisins.

Yummy Rava kesari is now ready!!
