Ingredients:

Kovakkai – 500 gms finely chopped

Mustard seeds – 1 tbsp

Urad dal – 1 tbsp

Turmeric powder – 1 tsp

Curry powder – 2 tbsp

Curry Leaves – 1 sprig

Oil – 4-5 tbsp

Salt to taste

Method:

In a kadai heat oil and once hot add Mustard seeds , Urad dal and curry leaves and saute for a couple of minutes .

Now add the Kovakkai, Turmeric powder and saute for a few minutes . Now add curry powder and salt and mix well . Saute for a few minutes till the Kovakkai is cooked well .

Now spread the cooked Kovakkai on a flat plate and cook it for six minutes. The Kovakkai will get roasted nicely without the risk of being burnt.

Yummy Kovakkai roast is ready ! !
