Potatoes – 4-5 medium cut into cubes
Onions – 1 finely chopped
Peas – 1 cup
Methi leaves – 1 bunch finely chopped
Green chillies- 2 slit into halves
Mustard Seeds – 1 tsp
Cumin Seeds – 1 tsp
Red chilli powder – 1 tbsp
Coriander Powder – 1 tbsp
Ghee/ Oil – 4-5 tbsp
Turmeric powder – 1 tsp
Fennel Seeds – 1 tbsp
Poppy Seeds – 1 tbsp
Ginger Garlic Paste – 1 tsp
Salt to taste


In a kadai, heat ghee/oil and once hot add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, fennel seeds, poppy seeds, ginger and garlic paste, green chillies and saute for a few minutes.

Now add methi leaves, Turmeric powder, red chilli powder, and coriander powder and saute for a few minutes.

Now add the potatoes, green peas, and salt . Saute for a few more minutes and close the lid. Keep mixing it every few minutes and cook for 8-10 minutes.
