Ingredients:

Sweet Potato – 2 cut into small cubes

Mustard seeds – 1 tbsp

Urad dal – 1 tbsp

Turmeric powder – 1 tsp

Red chilli powder – 1 tbsp

Coriander powder – 1 tbsp

Asafoetida – 1 tsp

Curry Leaves – 1 sprig

Oil – 4-5 tbsp

Method:

In a kadai heat oil and once hot add Mustard seeds , Urad dal and curry leaves and saute for a couple of minutes .

Now add the Sweet Potato, Turmeric powder and saute for a few minutes . Now add red chilli powder, coriander powder, asafoetida and salt and mix well .

Turn the heat to a low flame and leave the mixture for 10-12 minutes.till it gets roasted on all sides. .
