Pineapple-2 cups chopped
Turmeric powder -1 tsp
Curd- 3 cups
Fresh Coconut- 1/2 cup grated
Green chilli- 2
Cumin seeds -1 tsp
Mustard seeds -1 tsp
Urad dal – 1 tsp
Curry leaves-1 spring
Dry Red Chilli – 2
Coconut oil-4 tbsp
Sugar – 2 tsp
Salt-to taste


In a mixie, grind together coconut, cumin, green chilli and one cup pineapple pieces into a smooth paste by adding water.

In a kadai heat oil add mustard seeds, urad dal, red chillies, curry leaves and sauté for a few minutes.

Now add the remaining pineapple, turmeric powder, salt and sugar with some water and cook until the pineapple is cooked.

Now add the coconut paste and mix well and cook for a few more minutes. Take it off heat and now add curd and mix well.

Yummy Pineapple Mor Kuzhambu is now ready!!
