Green Beans – 2 cups finely chopped
Mustard Seeds – 1 tbsp
Urad Dal – 1 tbsp
Dry Red Chillies – 4-5
Asafoetida – 1 tsp
Garlic cloves – 8-10
Fresh grated coconut – 1 cup
Roasted Peanuts – 1 cup coarselt powdered
Curry leaves – 1 sprig
Ghee/Oil – 4-5 tbsp
Salt to taste
In a cooker steam the green beans for 10 minutes, allow it to cool and keep it aside.
In a kadai, heat ghee/oil and once hot add the mustard seeds, urad dal, red chillies, curry leaves and asafoetida and saute for a couple of minutes.
Now add the whole garlic and saute them till they become golden in colour.
Now add the beans, fresh coconut and salt and mix well.
Now add the peanuts powder and mix well. Saute for a few minutes and turn off the heat.
